About Gaia | Nature Inspired Jewellery
-Our Founder-
Hello! I’m Miriama – a silversmith, founder of Gaia, wife, and proud mum of two. For 15 years, I dedicated my career to the charity sector, but I’ve always had a love for sparkly jewellery - whether it was silver, gold, beads, or playful costume pieces. That fascination never left me.
Gaia began as a passion project to curate and sell quirky, nature-inspired, unusual jewellery. But over the past 18 months, I’ve immersed myself in learning silversmithing, and now create my own bespoke sterling silver pieces, each made with care, curiosity, and a bit of sparkle.
I never thought of myself as a creative or artistic person - I can barely draw beyond a marching band of stick figures! But working with silver has awakened something in me that had been dormant for decades. I’ve discovered joy in transforming ideas into unique, wearable art.
In Greek mythology, Gaia is the Goddess of all creation, the ancestral mother of all life, Mother Earth, Mother Nature.
I chose the name Gaia, as it represents my love of nature and its beautiful creations like birds, bees and plants. We at Gaia are also determined to be more eco-friendly in as many ways as possible and help nurture our planet Earth.

For this reason we have chosen eco-friendly packaging for your jewellery from our eco-supplier that plants a tree whenever Gaia places an order.
Your jewellery piece will arrive gently wrapped in tissue paper inside of a free eco-friendly pillow box or inside of an eco-friendly gift box if you choose to purchase one to reduce plastic packaging. This will then be posted to you in eco-friendly mailing boxes or biodegradeble envelopes.
All fully recyclable.
Our Jewellery
Gaia works with talented jewellery designers who have the same eco-ethics and values as we do. The jewellery and all materials are ethically sourced and made with precision and love.
Free Jewellery Pillow Boxes
Your jewellery piece will arrive gently wrapped in tissue paper inside of a pillow box. Both are recyclable and eco-friendly.
For hygiene purposes, earrings will arrive in a small security tag sealed bag.
Jewellery Gift boxes
We understand that you might choose to buy our jewellery as a present, therefore we are giving you the option to purchase an eco-friendly jewellery box for presentation.
Eco Friendly Postal packaging
Our postal boxes and envelopes are also sourced from reputable eco-friendly packaging companies and are fully recyclable.
